It's important to keep in mind that the app does not add new entries to the Windows Registry, or leave files behind on the hard disk after program removal. The scanning procedure is automatically initialized at program startup. The tool looks into computer directories and shows a summary of total scanned, clean and infected objects, along with cleaned, deleted and uncleaned objects. All activity is logged to file (LOG format). You can make a selection or highlight the clean, infected or uncleanable files, in order to copy, delete or rename them. Furthermore, you can disable automatic scrolling mode. The antivirus program is very light on the system resources, using a minimal amount of CPU and memory. It has a good response time and may take a while to complete a scan job, depending on the size of your HDD. However, no error dialogs have been shown in our testing, and the tool did not hang or crash. Unfortunately, Virus remover for Win32/Chir.B@mm has not been updated for a pretty long time.
