SRT Fixer Description

SRT Fixer is a lightweight and portable software application designed to help you easily synchronize SRT subtitles to their corresponding videos. It does not come equipped with complicated settings, making it accessible to all types of users, whether they have background with conversion tools or not. By running the executable, SRT Fixer automatically creates a file in the "Program Files" directory. Standard file deletion is suffice to remove it. What's more important is that no new entries are added to the Windows registry or Start menu, as it commonly happens with installers, thus leaving no leftovers after removal. The interface is made from a small window with an intuitive structure. SRT files can be opened by using the file browser only, since the drag-and-drop function is not supported. Batch processing is not possible, meaning that you can work with only one item at a time. All you have to do is specify the current and output FPS (frames per second), along with the delay time (in milliseconds). Applying the new settings is done with the click of a button. In addition, you can restore properties to default. Unfortunately, SRT Fixer does not integrate an option for viewing the corresponding movie and playing the subtitle at the same time, in order to figure out the delay time accurately. The tool has a good response time and commits the new modifications rapidly and without errors. We have not come across any issues in our tests, since SRT Fixer did not hang, crash or display error messages. It has not been updated for some time, though.
