SMTP Disclaimer Description

Microsoft provides no way of adding a Disclaimer to a message using Exchange 2000 or the IIS SMTP Server in Windows 2000. It can be done using a VBS Script but you must have a very good command of COM Technologies and a head for some complex code to manage it, not to mention changing the actual disclaimer later on and the inherent performance problems with scripted code. It can also be achieved using a 3rd party add-in. There are plenty of these around, but few as simple and in-expensive as the SMTP Disclaimer from ADJ. ADJ Enterprises developed this simple add-in for exchange or IIS which appends a given disclaimer to all messages going through the SMTP Virtual Server. The disclaimer is configurable on a per-domain basis. The SMTP Disclaimer is Now on version 2 which has added a full installer and provides more logical Locations for the files and greater throughput performance than the previous versions. Versions 1.0 and 1.1 are in use by companies around the world that took part in the testing and they have shown very few problems.
