Sec2File Description
The name Sec2File stands for Sector to File. Sec2File was designed to be a small utility that is used to copy the contents of an absolute sector (or sectors) to an output file for viewing or editing. Syntax: SEC2FILE /Sx filename NOTE: Options must be listed first. /Sx and filename are the minimum input. h or ? = Display this help screen. Dx = x is the source drive to read the sector(s) from, if other than the default drive. Nx = x is the number of sectors to copy. Default = 1. -d = Generate the output file as "db 56 E4 7A, etc.". Sx = x is the starting sector number. 0 based. The first disk sector is "Sector 0". & = Append to the end of an existing file. d:path = Valid drive and pathname of the output file, if other than the default drive and pathname. filename = The name for the output file. ext = Optional. Default is ".S2F".
