Radialix 2 Personal License Description

Professional Tool for Software Localization Radialix supports the localization of PO and MO files of the Gettext library. In the source settings, you can select which strings - msgid or msgstr - are to be extracted. If both the fields are selected, the translation will be imported when extracting the resources and when adding new strings when updating the resources. In the target settings, you can enable the automatic filling of the header with data from project information - the Options tab; make plural form settings and file encoding - the Plurals and Encodings tabs respectively. The Byte order option is used only for creating MO files. The value stands for the byte order in the original file - if it is a MO file - or the LittleEndian order - if otherwise. For new files, the encoding is set as the Language-Encoding grid. The encoding stands for the encoding of the original file if it doesn't use UTF-8 or, otherwise, the default encoding for the target language. The formula calculation result appears in the Preview grid. The Index column is the formula calculation result, the n column is the value of the argument. The grid contains the calculation results for n from 0 through 1000. Information on formula compilation and index calculation errors is shown in the messages. In PO and MO files, strings appear in a grid of strings in the ENTRIES resource; obsolete strings appear in the OBSOLETE resource. The OBSOLETE strings are not stored in MO files and by default have the Read-only attribute. Comments and references are displayed in the respective columns of the grid. To view a link, double-click on the cell in the References column. Strings that have plural forms are displayed as substrings of the same string and are separated with the zero character \0x00 from one another. For more convenience, for each form the program displays the msgstr index and the n value in the Translation grid of the plural string editor. Just as for the regular strings, inserting access key markers, maintaining the leading and trailing characters of the string, and the automatic translation are also supported for plural strings. Translation validity settings now have the number of plurals checking option. This option is always enabled and is read-only. It is available in the Strings/Text section. Text file encoding Unlike in the previous versions, in this version the encoding of target text files is set as a Language-Encoding grid, not as a single field. This removes the restriction on selecting encodings in projects that contain several target languages. For example, it was impossible to set the encoding koi8-r for Russian and win-1252 for German in the same project. Format specifiers This version of Radialix allows setting several type specifiers for a string at once. This is necessary for the files that can be used by applications developed in different programming languages - text files, PO and MO files. The translation validity check will be performed for all the specified formats. These formats, of course, must have similar specifier syntax. The editor for the StringFormat property has changed; this property is now edited in a separate dialog. You can set a state for each of the formats: * Undefined - string format is taken from the StringFormat property of the owner: for strings - from resource or translation memory; for resource - from resource type; for resource type - from file; for file - from parser's default value. For translation memory the state is equal to the default state. * Enabled - format check is enabled. * Disabled - format check enabled by the owner is disabled. Import The Target Language field that used to appear on the first page of the import wizard is no longer supported in version 2.11. The target language, which the file is going to be imported to, is now defined by the list of languages in the settings of the file being imported. For TMX, CSV, TXT and GLO files, the program allows importing several languages at once. Editing resource type In this version, to eliminate the problem of incorrect detection of resource type in PE files, the changing of their type (text or binary data) has been enabled. The resource conversion commands are available on the Resource submenu of the project manager's popup menu.
