Compact, fast-loading, but still powerful and efficient, Atlantis will be the perfect companion for a wide range of your word processing tasks, – from simple to most complex. It does not matter if you are a novice or a power user, Atlantis Word Processor has the tools you will ever need to compose highly professional documents. Using a most original and practical Control Board, you will create and manage all components of complex documents with unparalleled ease: sections, fields, headers & footers, newspaper columns, bulleted & numbered lists, styles, bookmarks, footnotes & endnotes, etc, all are a breeze with Atlantis. Both the Safeguard and Backup Files features make sure that you work under extremely safe conditions. Private documents can also be encoded and secured: you can save them to a proprietary COD file format using powerful 256-bit encryption technology. The Atlantis AutoCorrect and Spellcheck-As-You-Type features combine with a unique typing assist, the Atlantis Power Type, to dramatically simplify your word processing life. To install Atlantis on a memory flash drive: Launch Atlantis Word Processor (if Atlantis is not running yet) on your computer as usual, and choose the Tools | Options... command. Click the Save to File... button, and save the settings to the home folder of Atlantis on your hard drive (the settings filename should be Atlantis.ini). Copy the home folder of Atlantis (by default, "C:Program FilesAtlantis") to your memory flash drive After this, Atlantis is ready to be used from this memory flash drive. Just connect this memory flash drive to a PC, locate your memory flash drive as a new logical drive in Windows Explorer, and double-click the Atlantis.exe file that can be found on this new drive. Atlantis would use the settings stored on a memory flash drive. If you adjust these settings while using Atlantis from a memory flash drive, Atlantis would save the adjusted settings back to the memory flash drive. Note when launched from a memory flash drive, Atlantis never writes its current settings to the Windows Registry. Atlantis can be also installed on a U3-smart memory flash drive.
