Pivot 3 Stick Converter is a small software utility designed with a single goal in mind: to help you convert STK files to Pivot 2.2.5 format in the easiest way possible. Since this is a portable program, it is important to mention that it doesn’t leave any traces in the Windows Registry. You can copy it on any USB flash drive or other devices, and take it with you whenever you need to convert STK files on the fly. The user interface is really simplistic, and all its options are displayed in the primary panel. Although the application lacks a help menu, even a less experienced user can get an idea of how it functions, pretty quickly. Unfortunately, you cannot drag and drop the files directly into the main window, so you have to use the built-in browse button instead. Pivot 3 Stick Converter packs only a few options for helping you carry out the conversion process, as you can rename the file names manually or let the application perform this task automatically. The program supports batch processing, which means you can add multiple files to the list and convert them simultaneously. By default, the program adds the .PIV2 suffix to the file name, but you can change it by simply typing in the value in the dedicated dialog. During our testing we have noticed that the program is able to carry out a task very quickly and without errors throughout the entire process. It manages to remain light on the system resources, so it doesn’t affect the overall performance of the computer.
