PhotoME Description

PhotoME is the complete and free solution to catalogue and describe your digital images. It opens any JPEG, TIFF, BMP, and RAW file and shows all the metadata embedded in the photograph, allowing you to edit the content of the highlighted tags. The information can be exported and imported in a number of formats. It supports both Exif and IPTC-NAA data, showing all the existing information clearly organized in sections and tags. The amount of metadata shown by this efficient free tool is overwhelming. Every field is perfectly tagged, highlighting those tags that can be modified. Some fields have controlled values, which appear in a convenient drop-down list when the tag is modified. Those changes that affect the appearance of the image can be directly applied when the values are modified, allowing you to preview the results by using any of the viewers installed in your system. Together with the standardized Exif and IPTC-NAA data, PhotoME will show all the Maker Notes available, supporting a long list of camera manufacturers.
