NFOlux Description

NFOlux is an easy-to-use application that helps you view and create NFO-formatted files. The interface is represented by a regular window with a black background that resembles a common word processor, where you can write text and save it to NFO format seamlessly. In addition, you can open existing NFO files, make a selection, copy and paste items, as well as customize color and font settings. Other options allow you to associate NFOlux with the NFO format, display a small window with custom characters to insert into the document, as well as use an auto generator with a movie or application template, by inputting a few fields (e.g. release date, resolution, IMDB rating, cracker, OS type). No prior experience is necessary for working with this program. It has a good reaction speed and runs on a very low amount of CPU and RAM. We have not come across any issues in our evaluation, as NFOlux did not hang, crash or show error messages. On the downside, the application has not been updated for a pretty long while, but it works well on newer operating systems, including Windows 8.
