GraphAid Description

GraphAid is a simple and small application that can be used to find values for any positions on a graph that is loaded as a picture file. To start, just enter one set of calibration data (Scaling|Enter Scaling Data) and after that the text above the mouse will tell you what the value of the position under the mouse is. Example: Load a picture of a graph and pull up the scaling dialog (Ctrl-E). Click on the Axis Intersection Select button, then click on the actual intersection on the graph. If the values here are not 0,0 then enter the true values below. Next, click on the X-axis Select button, click on any point on the graph's X-axis and fill in the value of the position where you clicked. Do the same for the Y-axis. When you are finished, press Calibrate. You will see that the caption at the top of the graph now says SCALING ON. Remember that if the data looks incorrect, there is probably an error in your scaling data entry.
