Escalation-Online is an action MMORPG in development. In Escalation-Online the environment is that of a modern day setting (no more orcs and dragons) where you take control of a male or female character to which you will be able to customize as you see fit. Vehicles, close and ranged combat, and player housing. Version 0.8 has new basic urban map with two distinct areas. New buildings and better file format for such structures. Enterable buildings. Photorealistic textures. Totally new GUI. Working inventory. RPG style combat. First merchants added. Respawning NPC punching bags added. Day/night cycle. Weather added. New engine animations including swim, crouch, crawl, & melee character responds to camera angle (looks up/down). World is now bordered and finite, and free of holes. Login and character creation system. Persistent account/character system. PhP/mySQL support for accounts, players, and game data. Persistent character stats, skills, levels, and experience.
