BibleMax YLT Bible Description

Young's Literal Translation, best known as YLT, is an English translation of the Bible made by Robert Young, a Scottish 19th century publisher with a deep knowledge of anicent languages. His intention with this version of the Scriptures was to produce a strictly literal translation based on the original Hebrew and Greek texts, with the aim of avoiding the interpretations made by translators, editors and other persons involved in the publication of previous versions, thus letting the interpretation in the hands of the reader. Also, in many parts, like the first chapter of Genesis, Young uses the present tense, which, according to many experts, is closest to the Hebrew and Greek texts in which this version is based. For this reason, this version of the Bible is regarded as a very important work by many Bible scholars. Now you can own this important work thanks to BibleMax. BibleMax is software for reading and studying the Bible and other Christian texts. One of its main features is the fact that you can add as many extra modules as you need and wish to the core program.
