A media player for Android with additional format support. Extensive container / codec base, including: avi, divx, flv, mkv, mov, mp4, m2v, m4v, rmvb, ts, wmv, vob, xvid This is the free version of arcMedia. Please upgrade to arcMedia Pro for more features. arcMedia Redux is required for devices running JellyBean or later (please contact support for further assistance). This version is intended for older devices using the ARMv6 chipset: HTC Wildfire, Hero, LG Optimus, Motorola Fire, Samsung Galaxy Ace, Galaxy Mini, Sony Xperia X10, Orange Monte Carlo, Viewsonic Viewpad, etc. Stream or download your media files from a network (samba) share across a wifi or wired connection. Play online video content directly or download it to your device for offline access (Vimeo, Veoh, etc). Subtitle support with srt and smi format. Reverse landscape orientation for Android 2.3 or later. Optional on screen display for time, battery, etc. Continuous play back and play list support (pls, amp, m3u8). Please note: drm files (eg. encoded wmv streams) are not supported. If you have a tablet we recommend using arcMedia Redux. This application uses libraries from the FFmpeg project under the LGPLv2.1, further details are available on the arcMedia web site. Root access is not required to use this app. A shortcut to arcMedia will be added to the device launcher after successful installation.
