Tube Star is an Android application that keeps you up to date with everything happening right now in the London Underground. Tube Star brings us all together: you can see the official Transport for London status of each tube line (and any incidents reported at stations) and hear about fellow passengers' recent experiences. Want to become a Tube Star yourself? Each time you take the tube, you can post short tweets about what is happening around you: any crowds, delays, disruptions, or even about that lovely person who just gave up their seat for someone in need. What about my privacy? The data about when you connect to Tube Wi-Fi hotspots is securely stored in servers at the University of Cambridge, and will only be used to research how people navigate the tube.
