New York City Evacuation was created during the Hurricane Sandy crisis in an effort to aid those affected by the storm. It was built entirely using the Cleyr App Builder. The updated version of this app is a GPS guide to all 76 New York City evacuation centers. The locations were supplied by the NYC Mayor's Office, http://www.nyc.gov/html/misc/html/2012/hurricane_shelters.html Because of the urgency of the crisis, this app was created in about 8 hours, and emphasizes accuracy of the locations more than the photos. Put another way, all of the photos are the same! But it is useful guide to the NYC evacuation centers, does not require a cell phone connection to work once downloaded, and is a good example of what can be done very quickly with Cleyr.
