Find Motor Car Insurance, How and Why: Too frequently, people stay with their insurance company of choice for years. Perhaps a friend or family member introduced them to the company, or the agent is an old high school friend. You don’t realise the need to search for better rates because of offending their friend. You'll hear finding good insurance is easier when you search for car insurance online estimates and rate comparisons, so other people say. However I think it’s more confusing. There is no “one size fits all”. But how can you find your customised insurance policy, you need some “different” perspectives. First the problem: I may not know Tom, Dick, or Harry, whom are probably “good” friends of yours, but what you need to realise is “insurance companies want your money, without badgering you for it” which is why they tell their employees who are your friends, “bring your friends in”. This is a bit cut throat, but your friends brought you in for their own selfish reasons. What do I mean? Commissions and bonuses! Do you honestly think they would offer the insurance policy to be a good friend? Do they work at that company? Your friend probably does. Here’s another point, not many if any people go around saying to others, “join this insurance company”, why not? That’s meddling in your financial affairs which they have no right to do. It's like them telling you to spend your money on something they like. Do you consult your friends to tell you what you should by for your weekly shopping? I highly doubt it, but I could be wrong too. Your first real lesson, "you must know what you want, and more importantly, why you want this specific item?" Your compassion for your friend is admirable, but what do you truly understand about the insurance policies you have taken out? If you were quizzed on it, could you spit ball the answers back, as fast as the question came? Damage control questions: 1. What possible accidents could happen? 2. What other bad situations may happen? 3. What unforeseen circumstances could happen? 4. What happens if I default, one time, and something bad happens? 5. How will the insurance company stop me from getting an insurance pay out? 6. What kinds of accidents have happened? 7. How were those appeals of claims settled? 8. Were there claims that have not been resolved? 10. Some basic info that companies want: a. The vehicle identification number (VIN) is requested. b. The year, make, and models of the cars insured must be entered. c. Info you need to have on hand: i. Your personal situation; 1. Medical history. 2. Driving history. 3. Medical Condition. People have been duped into believing they will get insurance if something bad goes wrong. This is not always the case, check it out on the app, people have accidents, and insurance should cover it, but they don’t. You see you pay the company and in the spirit of good faith, you expect some financial assistance when things go wrong for you, but the insurance company throws you a curve ball, they say things like “you should have maintained your property better”, now if you’re 75 years old, and you don’t know anything about mechanical errors, you gave them your money for nothing, because they ain't going to pay for your problems.
