JSBSim Description

JSBSim is an open source, cross-platform flight dynamics model (FDM) designed to run on multiple operating systems like Mac OS X, Linux and Windows. JSBSim is the physics and math model that determines the movement of various aircraft and rockets under different forces of nature and moments. JSBSim is a standalone application that can use as input script files and aircraft configuration documents. Additionally, JSBSim can be integrated into other flight simulators that provide a visual system.
