Workspace Description

A packaged e-commerce software for integrated e-business solutions. Smilehouse Workspace is a Java based e-commerce application for product, order, and customer information management. Workspace is designed to help you handle, building and managing product catalogs, online stores, Web shops, and b-to-b extranets. It currently runs on Tomcat and has two Web-based interfaces.The first is a themed interface visible to the public, and the second is a separate administration interface for managing both the appearance and content of the published service (users and customers, product information and related files, order information).Note:To download the application, you need to register. Requirements: · Server software: Apache Tomcat 5, JDK 1.5.X or newer, For SSL support JSSE 1.0.2 or higher, MySQL 4, MySQL 5, or PostgreSQL, 1 GB of RAM, 1 GB of hard disk space. Limitations: · Full version of Workspace with a limiting license suited for only testing and development purposes. Improvements are focused on performance on large datasets. · Faster group letter functionality with large number of receivers. · Faster order and customer search in administration interface. · Administration dropdown menus have been modified to work better with IE8 and Opera. Bug fixes: · Lots of fixes for Kreditor and Lindorff. · Filemanager does not produce wrong mime type anymore in response header if the request points to a directory but doesn't end with a slash.
