VOEvent Description

Object orientated Perl application framework for dealing with VOEvent messages The objective of the VOEvent effort is to define the content and meaning of a standard information packet for representing, transmitting, archiving, and publishing a discovery of an immediate event in the sky. The objective is to drive archive searches, to alert the community, to drive robotic telescopes, and to build interoperable archives. The effort will include not just "photon" events, but also gravitational waves, neutrinos, air showers, etc. Requirements: · Perl What's New in This Release: · Fixed problem with STC block, documents built with the module now fully validate against the v1.1-060519 schema.
