Some European users found that was impossible to enter people into TreeTracker because the date format used to enter birth dates did not conform to the European standard. This version of TreeTracker gives the user the ability to configure the date format used for entering all dates in the application. By default, TreeTracker should automatically be configured with what ever your localized settings are for your date. If however you have a problem with the default settings, you can configure this manually by choosing the "Preferences" option from the main TreeTracker application menu.
