A user friendly Palm backup and install management tool Sync Buddy (previously Palm Buddy) is a backup and install management tool for Mac OS users withPalm Computing Platform handhelds (Pilot, PalmPilot, Palm III, IBM WorkPad,etc.).Its main goal of Sync Buddy is to provide for backup, live browsing, install and on-the-fly conversion of PalmOS databases.Sync Buddy runs with its own communication mechanisms, eliminating the need to use HotSync to install and backup software. Limitations: · 30 days trial. What's New in This Release: · Universal Binary, runs natively on both Intel and PowerPC Macs. · New preference to automatically update the handheld's date and time upon connection · Faster backups, can now backup previously non-transferable files (eliminates the "data too big" issue) · Added support for serial connections using the PalmConnect USB adapter (see the Trou- bleshooting information for instructions) · Added connection instructions and tips in the manual for WiFi and Bluetooth · Fixed connection issues with some recent Palm handhelds (LifeDrive, Tungsten T|X, etc.) · Fixed removable media issues with some recent Palm handhelds. The internal volume was not always visible or properly discovered. · Fixed pictures installation issues on some recent Palm handhelds. · Fixed several minor issues.
