Store all of your top-secret information in RiftVault, the personal safe that keeps everything you put inside safe from the most prying of eyes. For everything else your financial spreadsheets and confidential documents, just drag and drop them in.Ciphers and hashes declassified. Private data should be kept, you know, private. RiftVault uses 256-bit AES encryption combined with SHA-256 hashing to keep your data secure. AES encryption is so secure that the U.S. government has adopted the algorithm as standard for storing all of its own confidential information. As fun as it looks. RiftVault raises the bar and proves that securing valuables on your Mac can, in fact, be beautiful. Open RiftVault and you'll enjoy the understated elegance of brushed metal combined with dazzling visual effects in the most unexpected of places. To top it off, the use of Mac OS X Leopard-only features (including Core Animation) means you're in for a show. Your personal safe can't get any more fun than this. Here are some key features of "RiftVault":· Clutter-free organization. It's like a real safe, just on your Mac. But it's not ugly, messy, clumsy, or time-wasting. Deck the shelves with all your top-secret information and marvel at the brilliantly shining credit cards, passwords, and safe deposit boxes. Everything in your safe has never been so beautifully displayed as it is organized. Looking for something? Start typing and you'll find relevant results appearing instantly. For an even greater level of organization, place your items in categories. You can create as many as you need and colorize them accordingly. · Fast decryption. Everything you place inside RiftVault is securely stored using 256-bit AES encryption. As the encrypted data is accessed on your hard drive, it's cached temporarily while RiftVault is open. Caching improves performance on desktops and increases battery life on laptops. Most of all, caching means that making changes to a few items won't delay when you've got mountains of data. And when you close RiftVault, the caches are securely erased from RAM so there's no compromise in security. · Enjoy the Inspector. Double-click an item (or select the corresponding menu option) to open Item Inspector where you can view and edit the contents of anything in the safe. As you enter credit card information, pick from various credit card designs and start typing on the front of the card. Or, drag and drop some files into a Safe Deposit Box. It's all done beautifully, thanks to Item Inspector. What's more, Item Inspector intelligently saves whatever it is that you're typing as you type it. And all other views are updated in tandem, saving you up to 3 clicks every time you want to edit something. If you have a wide-screen Mac, you'll save even more time if you permanently place Item Inspector on the left or right side of the display. · Plenty to store. RiftVault includes a host of predefined item types so you can store your confidential information in a flash. If you find you need to store something that doesn't correspond to a template, just place it in a sticky note. Or, if your confidential information is already on your computer, just drag and drop it in from the Finder. The files will be ZIP compressed, encrypted, and placed inside a Safe Deposit Box. · Passwords / Web LoginKeep your passwords & web logins close at hand. So next time you're asked for a password, you don't end up wasting time trying to find - or worse - remember it. · Credit CardStore information for each of your credit cards. Pick from several credit card types (including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express). Along with standard credit card fields, you can keep customer service information in case your credit cards are lost or stolen. · Frequent Flyer InformationIf you travel frequently, you're more than likely to have enrolled in a frequent flyer program.
