Net::DNS Description

A free and easy to use DNS resolver implemented in Perl Net::DNS is a DNS resolver implemented in Perl. It allows the programmer to perform nearly any type of DNS query from a Perl script. For details and examples, please read the Net::DNS manual pages. Net::DNS does not depend on any C libraries. However, if possible Net::DNS will try to link to the libresolv library and this will automatically provide a notable speed increase. What's New in This Release: · Fix rt.cpan.org #41076: When the AAAA object was constructed with new_from_hash with an address containing the "::" shorthand notation normalization was not done properly. · Fix rt.cpan.org #42375: Typo in Win32.pm Registry root.
