After many seemingly pointless ports (for Windows, DOS, Linux, the HP 48G calculator, and aborted attempts to Apple BASIC) development was abandoned.OS X came along and the Lobster Petting development team quietly ignored the need for a Darwin port. However, 2007 will be forever hailed as a glorious year because the Admiral Colossus (ne Master Slack) put on his programming slacks and shat out not only a OS X port, but a Universal port.Made entirely in RealBasic (because it was easy and quick- From semi-crazed idea to insanely stupid product in less than 3 hours .) Runs fine on my Mini Duo Core and my girlfriend's MacBook (both running 10.4.8,) however I'd like to get some feedback about other systems. If it crashes, freezes, runs slowly, doesn't run, or causes hives, I'd like to know... Also, the incredible size of this amazingly simple game is due to two factors: 1) the Universal Binary hoohah, and 2) RealBasic makes big apps. You may ask yourself "Why didn't he just use XCode?" Well, I'll tell you: "I didn't really feel like banging out a week's worth of faster, smaller code when I could just tape something together in less than a day. Or in other words: laziness."Lobster Petting X has no real features. However, under the preferences menu you can specify if you want music and sound, and exactly how loud you want it. I also included an about box for no good reason.
