GNU Moe Description

GNU Moe is a fully-features OS X console text editor that provides the required tools and features to handle ISO-8859 and ASCII character-encoding schemes. GNU Moe comes in a lightweight LZ package that you have to decompress using the Lzip utility. GNU Moe features an user-friendly interface, support for multiple windows, global search and replace function, automatic indentations and word wrapping. In addition, users can easily access and use the unlimited undo and redo feature, filename completion, built-in file browser, unlimited line length, block operations, duplicate removal, delimiter matching and other useful functions. You can use the Alt key in order to perform various commands like cursor movements and scroll, the Tab key for filename completion and to hide or show directory browser. The Control key can be used to copy text blocks and deleting unwanted lines. How to install and run: Unarchive, open a Terminal window, go to GNU Moe's folder and run the following commands from the command line: ./configure make sudo make install ./moe More information on how to use GNU Moe is available on the online manual page.
