BlastViewer Description

Provides a graphical user interface comprising a hits table viewer for KoriBlast KoriBlast Free Viewer, or BlastViewer for short, is a freeware allowing you to graphically explore BLAST results produced by the NCBI and the EBI BLAST facilities. BlastViewer provides a graphical user interface comprising a hits table viewer, an HSP map viewer and a coloured-enhanced sequence alignment viewer. In addition, the software allows you to retrieve entries from the public databases for every hit sequence listed in the BLAST reports. BlastViewer is also capable to open and handle multiple BLAST files, enabling you to analyse and to compare more data quickly. Here are some key features of "BlastViewer": · Open BLAST result files produced outside KoriBlast. · Display full hit entries in your Web browser. · Display a hit list summary in standard tabular form. · Enhanced Blast sequence alignment viewer. Requirements: · PowerPC (G3 or newer) or Intel Pentium processor. · Java Virtual Machine (JVM) 1.5.0 or above · At least 128 Mo of RAM (256 Mo recommended) · A screen resolution of 1024 by 728 pixels is recommended. What's New in This Release: · A new version of the KoriBlast Free Viewer (BlastViewer) has been released. The viewer better handles results containing numerous entries: multiple Blast outputs within a unique results file as well as PSI-Blast output files. It is capable of handling larger data files. As a consequence, the viewer now requires a minimum of 256Mo to start. BlastViewer is now able to read KoriBlast native data files, enabling the exchange of data with the KoriBlast platform.
