An old-school theme for GNOME Kickstart 1.2 GTK is contains Metacity and GTK+ themes.In my neverending quest to bring back the overwhelming eyecandy of Workbench 1.x, made this gtk+ theme to go along with my Kickstart 1.2 metacity theme. I hope I caught the spirit of those unforgettable times. If the younger ones think that this looks completely horrible, then I've succeeded.I recommend using gnome-globalmenu for a more authentic look.How to install?· Right click on your desktop and select Change Desktop Background· Click on the first tab: Theme· Drag and drop the theme's archive in the Appearance Preferences window.· If everything is OK, you will receive a confirmation message and you can activate the theme just by clicking on it.About GNOME:GNOME is an international effort to build a complete desktop environment—the graphical user interface which sits on top of a computer operating system—entirely from free software.
