SolydX Description
SolydX is an open source Linux operating system that is based on the popular Debian GNU/Linux distribution and ues the lightweight Xfce as its default desktop environment. The Solyd Linux distribution is available in multiple editions, including SolydX, SolydK, SolydK Business Edition, SolydK Back Office, and SolydXK Multi DVD, which includes all of the above. Only two desktop environments are used in the Solyd Linux distribution, KDE and Xfce. While the SolydK editions use the powerful and eye-candy KDE Software Compilation environment, the SolydX editions use the less resource hungry Xfce desktop environment. SolydX is actually derived from the Linux Mint operating system, but it's still based on Debian GNU/Linux. It is distributed as a single Live DVD ISO image, supporting both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures.
