Support for physical quantities based on the popular numpy library Quantities is a Python library designed to handle arithmetic and conversions of physical quantities, which have a magnitude, dimensionality specified by various units, and possibly an uncertainty. Quantities is based on the popular numpy library.Quantities is undergoing active development, and while the current features and API are fairly stable, test coverage is far from complete and the package is not ready for production use. Requirements: · Python What's New in This Release: · This release fixes a critical bug due to the conflict between farad and Faradays (which both attempted to register themselves using the symbol "F"), and the unit registry has been improved so this kind of problem cannot arise in the future. Addition and subtraction of quantities with different but compatible units (like "m + ft") are now supported, the result will be expressed in the units of the left operand.
